Mountain Grace Kennels is a small, family run, in home breeding program rooted in faith, stewardship, and a deep love for dogs. We believe that how a puppy is raised matters just as much as genetics, and we are committed to providing each puppy with a strong, healthy foundation in a real home environment.

Our dogs are not kennel dogs. They are part of our family. From birth, our puppies are raised inside our home and experience everyday family life, including normal household sounds, routines, and interactions. They are surrounded daily by our three children, who play an important role as gentle, attentive puppy helpers. This constant exposure to people, activity, and affection helps our puppies develop confidence, adaptability, and strong social skills.

Our journey into breeding was shaped by many years of rescue and foster work. During that time, we cared for more than 36 medically fragile dogs and raised 8 litters of puppies in our home. That experience gave us a deep appreciation for how critical early care, stability, and intentional socialization are to a dog’s long term well being. Breeding felt like a natural extension of that work and an opportunity to be thoughtful and intentional from the very beginning.

Our dam and sire were carefully selected for their health, temperament, and affectionate, people loving personalities. They thrive in a family setting and reflect the calm, gentle traits we strive to preserve in every litter. Health, temperament, and sound structure are priorities in our breeding decisions, always with the goal of raising well balanced family companions.

As Christians, we view breeding as a form of stewardship and take seriously the responsibility of caring for God’s creation. Integrity, transparency, and humane treatment guide every aspect of our program. Our goal is not to produce puppies in volume, but to thoughtfully raise dogs who are emotionally prepared, well cared for, and ready to become cherished members of their forever families.

At Mountain Grace Kennels, we are committed to supporting our puppy families beyond pickup day. We value open communication, responsible placement, and lifelong accountability for the puppies we raise, because once a Mountain Grace puppy is born, they are always part of our story.
